What is Sphagnum Moss:
It is
extraordinary small plant that creates peat lands.
Origin of sphagnum:
There are
few listed places there sphagnum grow.

Harvesting of moss:
There are
two methods of harvesting the moss.
Manual harvesting:
It can be
harvested with rake.
Mechanical harvesting:
It can be harvested through excavator with mowing basket.
There are two methods to dry the moss.
Commercial conveyer dryer:
Use 500 KW
dryer to dry the moss. The moss will placed on conveyer belt made of mesh
material so that hot air could be blown.
Drying in thin layer on concrete in sunlight:
A manure
spreader can used to spread moss on concrete surface (25-30 ⸰c temper
ature).
Storage:
Simply put
in 1m high piles.
Note: to
kill the unwanted seeds of plants dry the moss at 75 ⸰c for 25-30 minutes.
