Methods to increase the yield of wheat under drought conditions in semi-arid areas.

Drought is a major limiting factor for the growth and productivity of many field crops. Water

limitation interrupts the supply of essential trace elements in the soil and decreases or unbalances

nutrient absorption by the plant.

combined application of biofertilizer (seed inoculation with PGPR) and Nano fertilizer significantly to enhance wheat yield.

  Nanofertilizer: 

Nano Fe-Zn oxide including nano Zn oxide and nano Fe oxide contained nanoparticles (with an average size of 30 nm ranging from 10 to 30 nm, a specific surface area of 30 m nano fertilizer grain, and a purity of 99%).

 

Foliar application of Spray 1.5 g L−1 of nano Fe-Zn oxide (N3) at 10 am evenly until the whole plant is wet.

 

Biofertilizer

 

Azotobacter chrocoocum strain 5. For inoculation, the seeds were coated with gum Arabic as an adhesive and rolled into the suspension of bacteria until a uniform coating.
